Psychosexual development is a concept introduced by Sigmund Freud that describes the process of how individuals develop their sexuality and sexual identity from infancy to adulthood. According to Freud, individuals go through five stages of psychosexual development: oral, anal, phallic, latency, and genital. Each stage is characterized by the focus on different erogenous zones and the resolution of conflicts related to sexual desires and impulses. The successful completion of each stage is believed to contribute to a healthy and well-adjusted adult sexuality. **

Freud's psychosexual development is a theory that describes how a person's personality develops through a series of stages based on their experiences with their sexuality. According to Freud, individuals progress through five stages: oral, anal, phallic, latency, and genital. Each stage is associated with a different erogenous zone and the individual's focus of pleasure. Freud believed that unresolved conflicts at any of these stages could lead to psychological issues in adulthood. This theory has been influential in the field of psychology, but it has also been criticized for its lack of empirical evidence and its focus on sexuality as the primary driver of development. **

Bullying can have significant negative effects on psychosexual development. It can lead to feelings of shame, low self-esteem, and body image issues, which can impact a person's sexual identity and relationships. Bullying can also contribute to anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder, which can affect a person's ability to form healthy sexual relationships. Additionally, bullying can lead to a lack of trust and intimacy, making it difficult for individuals to develop healthy sexual behaviors and attitudes. **

Critics of Freud's psychosexual development theory argue that it is overly focused on sexual instincts and fails to adequately account for other important factors in human development, such as social and cultural influences. Additionally, some critics argue that the theory is too deterministic and rigid, as it suggests that individuals' personalities are largely determined by their experiences during specific stages of development. Furthermore, Freud's theory has been criticized for its lack of empirical evidence and its reliance on subjective interpretations of patients' experiences. **

The psychosocial model focuses on the interaction between an individual's psychological and social factors, such as family dynamics, cultural influences, and social relationships, in shaping their development and behavior. It emphasizes the importance of environmental and social factors in understanding human development and functioning. On the other hand, the psychosexual model, as proposed by Sigmund Freud, emphasizes the role of sexual and instinctual drives in shaping an individual's development and behavior. It focuses on the stages of psychosexual development, such as the oral, anal, phallic, latency, and genital stages, and how conflicts and resolutions at each stage can impact an individual's personality and behavior. In summary, the psychosocial model considers the broader social and environmental influences on human development, while the psychosexual model focuses specifically on the role of sexual and instinctual drives in shaping an individual's development. **

A person fixated in a phase of psychosexual development can overcome it as an adult through therapy and self-reflection. By working with a trained therapist, the individual can explore the underlying causes of their fixation and develop healthier coping mechanisms. Additionally, engaging in self-reflection and practicing self-awareness can help the individual identify patterns of behavior and thought that are rooted in their fixation, and work towards changing them. It is important for the individual to be open to exploring their past experiences and be willing to make changes in order to overcome their fixation. **

Germanic history is often overlooked in traditional history curriculums because it is not as well-documented or as widely studied as other historical periods. Additionally, the focus of many history courses tends to be on more well-known civilizations and empires, suchjson as ancient Greece and Rome, or more recent events such as the World Wars. However, Germanic history has played a significant role in shaping Europe and the world, and it is important to include it in historical education to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the past. Efforts are being made to incorporate Germanic history into curriculums, but it may still be overshadowed by other historical topics. **
